About 3:10 p.m., Amber Allen, 19, of Seven Valleys was southbound in the right lane of I-83 near the North George Street exit when she tried to change lanes, state police said. Her Nissan Sentra hit Whitney Domenech's Mercury Mountaineer, which was traveling in the left lane, police said.

Allen's Nissan spun clockwise into the center barrier, where it came to rest, police said. Domenech, 25, of Holtwood Road in Holtwood, Lancaster County, was able to pull to the side of the road, police said.

Both women were taken to York Hospital with minor injuries, police said, and were wearing seat belts.
