Central York High School dismissed early Friday because of a water main break nearby, according to district officials.

The break, which occurred near Hammond Road and North Sherman Street, left the school without a water supply as of about 1 p.m., officials said. Buses are picking up students around 2 p.m., with faculty and staff dismissed shortly after.
