Ralph Thomas Ranowiecki Jr., 41, had been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple assault, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property.
"He was thrilled as well as relieved" by the verdict, defense attorney Farley Holt said.
State police arrested Ranowiecki Nov. 1, 2008, following an incident on Blymire Hollow Road.
Police said a dispute occurred at the party, and that Ranowiecki put Amber Thomson of Aberdeen, Md., into a hot tub while she was fully clothed.
Eventually, other partygoers persuaded Ranowiecki to leave the party, but police had alleged he returned with a handgun and fired at Thomson as she sat in her car. Bullets shattered the rear window of her BMW and pierced the left front fender of the car, police said.
